Welcome to the website of mountain artist Jennifer Riddle a native of Cruso North Carolina.  In retrospect my art career started at birth however it wasn’t until 2006 that we took my work into a gallery.  The tale went in typical fashion of bizarre events and here we are today!

I am self taught however have gleaned valuable information over the last few years from treasured creative minds that are amazing friends.  Many things in life have altered, changed and rearranged since then which is how each story begins and ends.  Understanding that the works created progressed when I wasn’t scared to fail led me into a mindset of…Ride The Wave Til’ It CRASHES…and by doing so I learned to surf.  I have found my weakness in the creative areana as well…hmmm..like murals on a wall!  The new addition to creative thought has been stand up comedy which is a blast or cheap therapy!

The Big Art Barn - Cruso NC

Highway 276 South from Waynesville towards the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Cruso isn’t real big so if you miss the signs then put down the beer…now that’s funny.

Yes, I am opening up my studio to the public to create the first Gallery in Cruso therefore whatelse could it be when it’s “Up Tha’ River” (Cruso Slang)…a BIG ART BARN.

I am excited to see everyone this year and will be attending the usual events which are FUN so purchase tickets early.
